Timeline Editor

The Timeline Editor is a full non-linear editor (NLE) with multi-track support, transitions, effects, keyframe animation, color grading, and LuaJIT scripting.

Creating a project

  1. Open the Timeline Editor module
  2. Click New Project
  3. Set your project resolution, frame rate, and name
  4. Click Create

Importing media

  • Drag files directly onto the Media Bin or the Timeline
  • Use File → Import to browse for files
  • Supported: all video, audio, and image formats

Basic editing

Trim a clipDrag the left or right edge of a clip on the timeline
Split a clipPlace the playhead and press S
Delete a clipSelect it and press Delete
Move a clipDrag it to a new position
Ripple deleteShift + Delete — removes clip and closes the gap

Transitions

  1. In the Effects Panel, open the Transitions tab
  2. Drag a transition between two adjacent clips on the timeline
  3. Adjust duration in the Inspector

Keyframe animation

Any numeric property (position, scale, opacity, etc.) can be animated:

  1. Select a clip and open the Inspector
  2. Click the stopwatch icon next to a property to enable keyframing
  3. Move the playhead to a new time and change the property value
  4. A keyframe is added automatically

Color grading

  1. Select a clip on the timeline
  2. Open the Color tab in the Inspector
  3. Adjust Curves, apply a LUT, or use the Color Wheels

Audio mixing

Each audio track has:

  • Volume fader
  • Pan control
  • EQ (3-band)
  • Noise reduction toggle

Exporting

  1. Click Export (or press Ctrl+E / Cmd+E)
  2. Choose a format preset or configure custom settings
  3. Set the output path
  4. Click Export

Export resolution is limited to 720p on the Free plan.
