Timeline Editor
The Timeline Editor is a full non-linear editor (NLE) with multi-track support, transitions, effects, keyframe animation, color grading, and LuaJIT scripting.
Creating a project
- Open the Timeline Editor module
- Click New Project
- Set your project resolution, frame rate, and name
- Click Create
The interface

Importing media
- Drag files directly onto the Media Bin or the Timeline
- Use File → Import to browse for files
- Supported: all video, audio, and image formats
Basic editing
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Trim a clip | Drag the left or right edge of a clip on the timeline |
| Split a clip | Place the playhead and press S |
| Delete a clip | Select it and press Delete |
| Move a clip | Drag it to a new position |
| Ripple delete | Shift + Delete — removes clip and closes the gap |
Transitions
- In the Effects Panel, open the Transitions tab
- Drag a transition between two adjacent clips on the timeline
- Adjust duration in the Inspector
Keyframe animation
Any numeric property (position, scale, opacity, etc.) can be animated:
- Select a clip and open the Inspector
- Click the stopwatch icon next to a property to enable keyframing
- Move the playhead to a new time and change the property value
- A keyframe is added automatically
Color grading
- Select a clip on the timeline
- Open the Color tab in the Inspector
- Adjust Curves, apply a LUT, or use the Color Wheels
Audio mixing
Each audio track has:
- Volume fader
- Pan control
- EQ (3-band)
- Noise reduction toggle
Exporting
- Click Export (or press
Ctrl+E/Cmd+E) - Choose a format preset or configure custom settings
- Set the output path
- Click Export
Export resolution is limited to 720p on the Free plan.
